Bio: Talli Yehuda Rosenbaum
Physical Therapist
Talli Yehuda Rosenbaum is a private practice physical therapist specializing in pelvic floor rehabilitation, and an AASECT certified sexuality counselor. A graduate of the Physical Therapy program at Northwestern University Medical School, she is an internationally recognized expert in the treatment of pelvic and genital pain and sexual pain disorders. She currently serves on the Professional Advisory Boards of the Women's Sexual Health Foundation, and The Intercultural Center for Human Sexuality and Family Life. She sits on the board of the Women's Health Section of the Israeli Physiotherapy Society and represents the Israeli delegation to the IOPTWH (International Organization of Physiotherapists in Women's Health). She currently serves as Chairman of the AASECT Counselor Certification Committee and International Outreach Committees and is a member at large of the ISSWSH Board of Directors.Ms. Rosenbaum has published book chapters and peer reviewed journal articles on the topics of the role of the pelvic floor in sexual health, the role of physiotherapy in the treatment of sexual pain disorders, the treatment of unconsummated marriage, and Judaism and sexuality. She currently serves as an expert and regular contributor to the Love and Health Information Network. In addition to seeing patients and couples, she is a guest lecturer in the Sex Therapy program at Bar Ilan University and at the Haifa University School of Nursing, and is instructor and program co-coordinator of a training program which prepares and certifies experienced physiotherapists in pelvic floor rehabilitation. She is also currently completing her Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Sociology at the University of North Texas campus in Jerusalem.
